Asim Zaidi, DMD
Asim Zaidi DMD is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BS in Hospital and Health Administration/Public Health and a 1997 graduate of UMDNJ in General Dentistry. He is is member of the ADA, Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry. He also received the Crest Award for Excellence in Dentistry for the Elderly. Dr. Zaidi enjoys traveling with his wife and son and may be found out on the golf course whenever possible in pursuit of the elusive hole in one.
Lealon A. Robinson , DMD
Lealon A. Robinson DMD was born in the State of New Jersey, elementary and high school in Jersey City with military duty for 3 years. He attended Rutgers School of Arts and Science Newark Campus and at that time UMDNJ school of Dentistry. He received Post Graduate training in Oral Surgery at Harlem Hospital Columbia School of Physicians and Surgeons.
While in training he enjoyed long distance running and would travel to surrounding states with friends to run. He learned to play golf when an uncle left a 7 iron at his home and has been hooked ever since. He also loves to go on trips to no where – He says “you’ ll be surprised at the people and places you encounter”.
According to him, the thing he loves doing most is going to Newark NJ and providing basic care to those who are under-served and thanks to the help of his friends, he is able to give back.
Another thing he enjoys is fishing, especially deep sea. He belongs to St. Mark Fishing club and goes to different states to fish for blues, stripers, Porkies and he says “… – oh by the way – fresh or salt water I’ll go.”
Kristen Blumberger, DMD
Dr. Kristen Blumberger grew up in Little Silver, NJ. After receiving an academic scholarship for scholastic achievement, she graduated from Tulane University with a B.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in Kinesiology. She went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, receiving both the Hunt and Merit scholarships for scholastic achievement.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Blumberger completed a one-year General Practice Residency at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. From 2001-2005 she practiced general dentistry in NYC and has also served as an adjunct clinical instructor at NYU College of Dentistry, In 2004 she received the Appreciation Award for Dedication to the Advancement of NYU College of Dentistry from the Student National Dental Association. Dr. Blumberger enjoys volunteering.
In 2003 she set up dental clinics in underprivileged areas of the Dominican Republic. In 2004 she went on another outreach trip to Jamaica, where she volunteered and performed dental work in rural communities with NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Blumberger went on to complete a 2-year post-graduate residency program in Endodontics at NYU College of Dentistry, graduating in 2007. During her residency she worked on research with respect to pain management and pain medications. Dr. Blumberger currently works as an endodontist in NYC and NJ, where her main focus is easing patients anxiety and performing painless root canals.
Jeffery Gold, DDS
Dr. Jeffrey Gold grew up in Middletown NJ. After graduating from Emory University he decided to pursue a career in dentistry following in the footsteps of his father Dr Sanford Gold who maintained a general practice in Keyport for over 40 years. After completing Emory Dental School in 1985, he went on to postgraduate training in Periodontology at the University of Connecticut. Upon receiving his periodontal certificate, Dr. Gold began practicing in Manhattan while also teaching part time at Columbia University.
Dr. Gold relocated back to the shore area in 1990 and began a solo practice in periodontics and implant dentistry in Red Bank, becoming one of the first dentists in the area placing the modern osseointegrated dental implants. Dr. Gold is thrilled now to be a part of the team at Chapel Hill Dental Arts and to be providing implant and periodontal services in this dynamic and professional setting. Dr. Gold lives with his wife of 31 years, Lisa, and has two wonderful grown children. When not working he enjoys boating, fishing, golf and travel.
